I take a lifestyle-type approach to all my sessions. This means you can expect natural poses for your little one, both in your arms and on beds, bassinets, etc. The feeling of holding your baby is something you want to remember. How they grasp your hand, how their head smells (yes that is a thing!). You want photographs that help you remember how this time feels.
You crave a more artistic approach and want artwork you can display for years to come.
With so many different photographers there is a style for everyone. How do you find the durham newborn photographer who is right for you? I might be perfect for you if you want more of an artistic feel to your images – beautiful black and white images, gorgeous, rich coloured portraits. You love detailed shots and can imagine a canvas of your baby clutching your partner’s hand. I love creating artwork for clients that go beyond the usual photographs you see on instagram.
You love unique locations and things that are just a little bit different.
Durham region has so many beautiful locations – many of which you have probably already seen. I love finding locations that might look just a little bit different, and if you’re up for a little bit of travel you will be highly rewarded! From vineyards to creeks and waterfalls, there are some spectacular locations we can visit (though no waterfalls in Durham region unfortunately!).
You want to dress up a bit for your photographs
Everyone is different, but I might be the right choice if you want a little bit of extra gorgeous-ness in your images. I have a large client closet available to all clients so you don’t have to worry about finding the perfect outfit. I work with a variety of hair and makeup artists, including Karen from Lubu Makeup. You want photographs that go a little bit beyond the everyday, while still capturing all that love and connection that you have.
You are interested in video as well
There is something absolutely magical about actually seeing video of your family – photographs take you so far and video takes you the rest of the way. I have started diving into family films so if this is something that interests you reach out and we can connect!
